The past, present, and future of the blues collide at the crossroads when living legends, bluesy country rockers, and house party hip-hop masters meet for a celebration of Delta blues icon Robert Johnson’s musical legacy. When we travel out to the crossroads, we’ll taste the bittersweet wind of the Delta, jump at a juke joint, and catch a whiff of a smoking amp for some funkadelic fusion.
A driving force of the Greenwich Village New Folk Movement, Cliff Eberhardt’s music is infused with influences ranging from Americana blues, Tex-Mex and passionate roadhouse ballads. USA Today music critic cited his newest album “500 Miles: The Blue Rock Sessions” as “a soulful steam” and named it the number 5 Album of the Year.

Two artists hailing from different sides of the Atlantic but both bound by the spirit of social justice and activism come together for a special celebration of music. Mavis Staples blazes a rhythm & blues trail while never relinquishing her gospel roots. The Lifetime Grammy Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee was honored as one of Rolling Stone’s 100 Greatest Singers of all time. Billy Bragg’s inspiration stems from the socially conscious folk tradition of Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan. Called a “national treasure” by the Times of London, he’s spent more than two decades making an indelible mark on the conscience of British music that has carried over to the US and Canada.
