Our annual spectacular holiday celebration returns to the Zeiterion for a performance of this widely popular musical production. It is the classic tale of a soul lost and found, featuring the stingiest man alive, Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim and the Cratchit Family, and the Ghosts of Christmas, Past, Present and Future.
Angelina Ballerina: The Musical comes to The Z after opening in New York in October 2010. Inspired by the award-winning children’s book series, Angelina Ballerina, her friends and even their teacher, Ms. Mimi, are all aflutter because a special guest is coming to visit Camembert Academy! Angelina and her friends will perform all types of dance, including hip-hop, modern dance, the Irish jig and of course, ballet, and they are excited to show off their skills to their famous visitor. Angelina is the most excited of all, but will she get the starring moment she hopes for? Based on the CG-animated series, Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps, on PBS KIDS®, Angelina Ballerina: The Musical is a family-friendly show that will have the entire audience dancing in the aisles.

Grammy award winner and the former lead singer and songwriter for the legendary rock and roll band The Del Fuegos, and his band perform exuberant, handmade music for enthusiastic crowds of kids and kid sympathizers. For this concert Zanes his band and our very own New Bedford Symphony Youth Orchestra join for an exuberant mix of American traditional, dance classics, and smart, inventive original songs. The audience is invited to “sing along with gusto” before things heat upand all-ages are up and dancing.
